Latest Updates from Our Project:
August Update!
– Fri, Aug 28, 2015 at 12:09:22 AM
Hi Everyone!
We’re excited to say that the August update of Nevermind on Steam Early Access is now live! Tons of bugs have been fixed, many performance optimizations have been made and, perhaps most excitingly, most of the immortalization rewards are in!
Look for your immortalization object if...
You’re a backer who pledged at a level entitling you to immortalization in the game
You sent in all the required materials by the original deadlines
Your immortalization object exists in the Neurostalgia Institute
If your immortalization object exists in Client #251, it will be in the next update! (Sorry for the slight delay.)
If you’re a backer who pledged at a level entitling you to a Relic in the Hall of Fears (and returned the survey by the original deadline), that will be available in the very near future! We’re just working out a couple of last minute kinks - our apologies for the slight delay.
If you’re a backer who pledged at a level entitling you to either Immortalization and/or a Relic in the Hall of Fears and haven’t sent in all the required materials yet, we’ll be following up with you in the coming days to ensure we have everything we need to fulfill that portion of your reward in time for launch. Please keep an eye out for an email from [email protected].
That’s about it for now, but stay tuned for A TON of exciting and significant updates in the very near future!
Finally, a friend of Nevermind recently launched a new Kickstarter campaign for this super cool looking game!
Hope you enjoy the latest update to the game and keep an eye out for a few more announcements in the near future!
Best,
Erin & the Nevermind Team

ScareLA, SXSW PanelPicker, Devastated Dreams

Hi everyone!
I wanted to send a quick update to thank everyone who visited us at ScareLA this weekend! We had so much fun and loved showing off the Nevermind Oculus sneak peek - we can’t wait to share more of it with everyone in the near future!!
SXSW PanelPicker
Speaking of sharing cool things with everyone, SXSW’s PanelPicker voting system has just opened up. The PanelPicker lets people vote on which panels they’d like to see at next year’s SXSW festival. I’m in two of the panels that are up for voting and, provided that you think they’re neat and something that would be fun to have at SXSW, we would love for you to vote for them.
Devastated Dreams is created by Matt Gilgenbach, the incredible mind behind Neverending Nightmares. Both of these games, like Nevermind, seek to address the many complexities of mental health within a “traditional” game setting in a beautiful and artfully horrific way. Devastated Dreams has a long way to go in not a lot of time - so please consider supporting it. In my opinion, the world needs more bold genuine games like this out there.
Best,
Erin & the Nevermind Team
Nevermind on New Platforms
– Sun, Aug 09, 2015 at 01:22:14 AM
Hello everyone!
It’s August already - we can barely believe it!
We’ve been busy - as always - making Nevermind better every day (thanks in large part to your feedback) and are now focusing on bringing the core Nevermind experience to Xbox One and the Oculus Rift. Because of YOUR support via last October’s Kickstarter campaign, Nevermind is already up and running on both platforms, and we CANNOT WAIT to share both with you… as soon as they’re ready. ;)
Get a Taste of Nevermind on Oculus Rift at ScareLA
We are also excited to announce that we will be sharing a special sneak peek Oculus Rift demo of a small section of Nevermind at ScareLA next weekend (August 8 & 9). If you’re in the Los Angeles area, swing by the event (which is a lot of fun in its own right) and join us at Booth 834!
Some highlights:
Try out a sample of an early version of Nevermind on the Oculus Rift.
Play Nevermind with the Intel RealSense Biofeedback and Gesture experience.
Say hi to us AND meet one (or more) of the voice actorsfrom the game! (we’ll post more on that on Facebook and Twitter as we get closer to the event)
And the best part… enjoy Halloween a couple months early!
We’re obviously very excited about Nevermind running on the brand new platforms, but that doesn’t mean that we’ve lost focus on the core Win/Mac experience. We’ve just released a patch on Steam Early Access that fixes a variety of bugs and we’re looking forward to a larger update some time later this month with the first round of in-game digital Backer Rewards!
Backer Rewards
On that note, many thanks to everyone who has returned their surveys!
If you pledged at a level entitling you to a Relic in the Hall of Fears or Immortalization in Nevermind but have not yet returned your survey, it’s not too late! We may not be able to get it into the August update, but we’re still taking your requests. If you haven’t received the survey yet for some reason, just let us know and we can resend it to you.
If you still haven’t completed your BackerKit survey, please do so soon! We’ll be closing the BackerKit surveys near the end of this month - so time is running out to make sure everything is all set for your rewards. Please let us know if you need us to resend you the link for your BackerKit information.
Controllers
Nevermind now supports the Xbox One and Xbox 360 controllers and we will be adding more supported controllers in the coming weeks. Which controllers, you ask? That’s up to you! If you have a preference, please let us know via the survey below:
That’s it for now - hope we see some of you this weekend!
Now in 3D ;) Erin & the Nevermind Team

Hi everyone!
It is with great excitement that I'm writing to let you all know that the newest (and final... for now) level is now up on Steam Early Access!
If you have already completed the IntroSim and Client #251, you should now be able to access it. We can't wait to hear what you think!
Woohoo!

In-Game Digital Rewards AND New Level!
– Mon, Jul 13, 2015 at 06:03:05 AM
Hello everyone!
There’s lots of exciting stuff to talk about, so let’s get to it!
In-Game Digital Rewards
Did you back Nevermind at a level that offers the following rewards?
Immortalization in Nevermind
Relic in the Hall of Fears (and accompanying sketch)
If so, you should have received an email with instructions on how to submit your preferences.
IMPORTANT: We’re going to try to sneak these rewards in early before the October launch. However, in order for your choices to make it in game in time for the August update, you must return your survey by THIS THURSDAY (7/16) at Midnight Pacific Time. Our apologies for the short notice!
One email per reward will be going out - so if you backed Nevermind at a level that entitles you to both rewards, you will be getting two emails.
The emails will be coming from [email protected](so please check your spam filter/whitelist that address). If you haven’t gotten an email by the end of the day today, please email us at [email protected] to let us know.
Brand New Level THIS WEEK!
Client #418 will be launching this week (possibly as soon as tomorrow)!
Client #418 has perhaps been one of the most creatively challenging levels to build so far as it addresses many complex issues that are unfortunately all too common. We’ve spent a lot of time researching and thinking about how to tell this client’s story in a respectful, accurate, and compelling way. I’m very proud of how the level is turning out but, frankly, as one would feel when dealing any delicate topic - I am a little nervous about how it will be received.
As always, I’ll be looking toward your feedback to see how we can improve the level as we continue to develop the game. If you have any thoughts about it that you’d like to share, please feel free to send them directly to [email protected].
BackerKit
There are still about 5% of you who haven’t completed your BackerKit survey. Even if you aren’t planning to collect any rewards (although we insist that you at least take a Steam Key - you can always gift it to someone else!), it would be very helpful if you could complete the survey just to make sure we have everyone covered.
If you backed this Kickstarter campaign in any capacity and haven’t heard from BackerKit, please email us at [email protected] to let us know!
